Chapter 5 of 6
When My Stepmother Evicted Me Father Revealed A Mind-Blowing Secret
Justice Served Cleanly
Two uniform security officers walked up the paved walkway and stood politely near the front door.
Brenda came rushing down the grand staircase carrying three massive designer leather suitcases in her arms.
Her hair was completely messy and her expensive makeup was smeared across her pale face now.
She stopped cold when she saw the two tall officers standing right inside the warm hallway.
"Is there a problem here, ma'am?" one of the officers asked with a calm steady voice.
"My husband is forcing me out of my own home!" Brenda yelled while pointing at David.
"We have reviewed the estate documents and the active court order, ma'am," the officer replied.
"This property is held under a private family trust that you hold no rights to."
"You need to load your bags into your personal vehicle and leave the premises immediately."
Brenda looked around the grand hallway that she had tried so hard to claim as her own.
She realized that no amount of screaming or lying would save her from this public defeat.
She grabbed her three heavy suitcases and stomped past the officers out onto the cold porch.
Maya watched through the glass door as Brenda shoved her luggage into the small sports car.
The car engine roared to life with a loud sputter, sending dark smoke into the air.
Brenda sped down the long paved driveway and drove away into the dark night forever.
The quiet neighborhood street became completely peaceful once again as the white car vanished entirely.
David turned to the two security officers and shook their hands with genuine warmth and respect.
"Thank you for your help tonight, gentlemen," David said as he closed the front door.
He locked the heavy deadbolt firmly, securing his home and his beloved daughter inside safely.
Maya picked up her late mother's porcelain figures and set them back on the shelf gently.
Not a single piece of the precious family collection had been damaged during the dark confrontation.
David walked over and placed a soft warm wool blanket around Maya's shaking cold shoulders.
"Let us get your clothes cleaned up and order a big warm dinner tonight," David smiled.
"We have a lot of peaceful time to make up for after this terrible week."
Maya wrapped the warm blanket around herself tightly and smiled back at her father happily.
She knew that the wicked stepmother would never be allowed to cross their threshold again.
The true owner of the home had spoken up, and justice had been served completely clean.
They sat together in the living room while the warm fireplace crackled softly near the couch.
For the first time in weeks, Maya felt totally safe inside the house her mother built.
Her father sat right beside her, holding the legal papers that secured her bright future forever.
The long dark nightmare had finally ended, leaving behind a clear path of hope ahead.
