Chapter 3 of 6
When My Stepmother Evicted Me Father Revealed A Mind-Blowing Secret
The Unseen Secret Papers
David held the yellow legal envelope tightly while the hallway light shone brightly on his face.
Brenda's eyes remained fixed on the red seal stamped on the front of the heavy paper.
"What is inside that envelope, David?" Brenda asked with a shaking voice full of deep worry.
"This is the legal document that will protect my daughter from your endless greed," David answered.
He pulled a thick stack of typed white papers out from inside the official legal file.
"You thought I was just visiting clients across the state line during this long trip," David said.
"I was actually meeting with my family's probate lawyer to review our total estate plan."
Brenda took a small step forward and reached out her hand toward the thick paper stack.
"We have a prenuptial agreement that guarantees my share of the property!" Brenda claimed loudly.
David laughed out loud without any warmth or humor in his voice at all today.
"That prenuptial agreement clearly stated that any emotional abuse toward Maya voids your monthly allowance entirely."
Brenda gasped as she suddenly remembered the minor clause she had skimmed through last year.
She had signed the complex document without fully reading the strict terms her husband had set.
"You cannot prove anything! It is just her word against mine!" Brenda argued with force.
David reached into his coat pocket and pulled out his black smartphone with a firm grip.
He tapped the screen twice and held the small speaker up toward Brenda's pale face.
A clear high-definition audio recording began playing loudly through the quiet hallway right away.
"He has a brand new family now and you do not belong here!" Brenda's voice echoed loudly.
The security system above the front porch had recorded every single word of her cruel eviction.
It had captured the crisp audio of Brenda kicking the suitcase down onto the wet steps.
Brenda placed her hands over her mouth as her ultimate secret scheme completely crumbled around her.
"I installed those high-definition cameras two weeks ago to protect my home," David explained smoothly.
"Every single cruel thing you said to Maya was uploaded directly to my private server."
Maya looked up at her father with absolute relief washing over her tired young face.
She realized that her father had never abandoned her or fallen for Brenda's fake acts.
"David, please! I was just stressed out from running this massive household all alone!" Brenda begged.
"You do not have to end our entire marriage over one tiny misunderstanding on the porch!"
"This is not a misunderstanding, Brenda," David said as he pointed to the second page.
"This is a full notice of eviction served directly to you by my legal team today."
Brenda gasped loudly and backed away until her shoulders hit the grand wooden staircase behind her.
"You are evicting me from my own home?" Brenda screamed as her fake tears turned real.
"This home never belonged to you for even a single second," David corrected her instantly.
"This property is held inside a private trust fund created exclusively for my daughter Maya."
"I am simply the manager of the fund until she turns eighteen years old next decade."
Brenda felt her heart drop directly into her stomach as the terrible reality settled in deep.
She had spent months planning to divorce David and take half of his grand mansion away.
Now she was standing in the hallway with absolutely nothing to show for her bad choices.
"You set a trap for me!" Brenda shrieked with her face turning completely purple with anger.
"You showed your true colors all by yourself without any help from me," David replied calmly.
"You have exactly thirty minutes to pack your personal belongings into your small car outside."
"If you are still inside this house after that, the local sheriff will remove you quickly."
David stepped forward and held the front door wide open for the cool evening breeze.
Brenda stared at the open door and realized that her high-class status was completely gone forever.
