The argument escalated within seconds, breaking the quiet atmosphere of the home. Victoria stepped toward the kitchen counter where a heavy iron frying pan was sitting beside the stove, still warm from cooking the evening meal. She grabbed the metal handle tightly, her mind clouded by irrational anger and deep personal jealousy toward Clara's rising influence in the family business.

Arthur set his coffee mug down on the table, his hands trembling slightly as he realized things were spinning out of control. He looked up at Victoria with deep worry, sensing that her rage was no longer just petty words. Evelyn also stood up from her chair, holding onto the edge of the table to steady herself as she tried to intervene.

Evelyn: Victoria! Set that down right now! Have you completely lost your mind?!

Victoria: Who allowed this little beggar to sit at the same table as my child?!

Before anyone could react or step in front of her, Victoria swung her arm with all her strength. She hurled the heavy cast-iron frying pan directly across the wide dining room toward the small child. The pan sliced through the air with a loud, terrifying swoosh sound, spinning fast as it headed straight for the innocent little girl sitting at the table.

Clara gasped in absolute horror and lunged across her chair to shield her daughter, but it was too late. The heavy metal pan struck little Lily on her shoulder and side, knocking her backward with a sickening impact sound. The force of the strike was so strong that the child's wooden chair tipped over, sending Lily crashing heavily onto the cold floor.

The cup of bright red juice in Lily's hand flew into the air, splashing sweet red liquid across the floor, the baseboard, and Lily's bright dress. The sound of a loud impact echoed through the room, followed immediately by Lily's painful, high-pitched scream. The little girl lay on her side beside the spilled juice, holding her sore arm and weeping uncontrollably as tears rolled down her flush cheeks.

Clara dropped to her knees on the floor in sheer terror, her heart pounding violently against her ribs. She pulled her sobbing daughter into her arms, checking her head, arms, and legs for broken bones or deep cuts. Her eyes filled with tears of pure fear and rage as she rocked the small girl back and forth on the stained wooden floor.

Lily: Mommy! It hurts so bad! Mommy, make it stop!

Clara: I am right here, sweetie! Mommy has got you! Shh, baby, it is okay, I am here!

Evelyn: Oh my goodness! Lily! My sweet baby girl!

Evelyn rushed over as fast as her old legs could carry her, dropping down beside Clara and the crying child. Her elderly hands shook uncontrollably as she patted Lily's forehead, trying her best to calm the frantic situation. Meanwhile, Victoria stood over them with her arms folded coldly across her brown shirt, showing not a single shred of remorse or regret for what she had just done.

Victoria: Maybe now she will learn some manners! She should not have been sitting at my table in the first place!

Clara: You monster! She is four years old! How could you throw a heavy pan at a helpless child?!

Victoria: Stop making such a dramatic scene, Clara. It barely touched her. She is just crying for attention like she always does.

Arthur sat frozen in his chair, his coffee mug held midway to his mouth as shock rendered him completely speechless. He stared in absolute disbelief at his daughter-in-law, unable to process the sheer cruelty he had just witnessed in his own dining room. The room was filled with the sound of heartbreaking sobs, but beneath the noise, something silent was happening on the floor right beside the puddle of red juice.
