Chapter 3 of 6
The Arrogant Guest Demanded Her Firing Until She Saw The Title Deed
The File in Her Hands
High above the lobby, the senior hotel manager appeared at the top of the marble stairs.
Mr. Harrison was a distinguished man in a dark tuxedo holding a sharp leather clipboard.
He took three steps down before realizing the intense confrontation happening near the front counter.
He accelerated his pace, rushing down the steps as fast as his polished shoes would allow.
Mr. Harrison: Stop! What are you doing to Miss Valle?!
His booming voice echoed clearly across the entire height of the grand entrance hall.
Victoria turned around quickly, assuming the manager was coming to take her side immediately.
Victoria: Manager! Thank goodness you are here to handle this incompetent employee!
Mr. Harrison bypassed Victoria completely and stepped directly beside Clara with deep concern on his face.
Mr. Harrison: Are you alright, Miss Valle? Did she cause you any physical harm?
Victoria blinked in complete confusion as she watched the manager's unexpected reaction.
Victoria: Miss Valle? Why are you addressing a simple front desk clerk with such high respect?
Mr. Harrison turned to face Victoria with a look of stern disappointment and cold anger.
Mr. Harrison: Because you are speaking to the primary owner of this entire establishment, ma'am.
A sudden wave of whispers broke out among the guests watching from the balcony above.
Victoria's jaw dropped slightly, her confident smile fading away in an instant.
Victoria: Owner? That is completely impossible, she wears a basic staff uniform!
Clara stepped forward, opening the black leather folder she had picked up from the floor.
She pulled out an official document stamped with heavy gold wax seal at the bottom.
Clara: My mother built this hotel thirty years ago from the ground up.
Victoria: That doesn't prove anything! Anyone can print a piece of paper!
Clara: When she passed away last year, the entire estate trust passed down directly to me.
She held the official property deed forward so Victoria could read the clear dark lettering.
Clara: I work at this desk every Friday to understand every part of my mother's legacy.
Victoria stared at the legal seal, her cheeks turning bright red with overwhelming embarrassment.
The entire crowd held their breath as the balance of power shifted completely in the room.
