Chapter 2 of 6

The Arrogant Guest Demanded Her Firing Until She Saw The Title Deed

The Truth Behind the Hotel

The crowd of guests gathered in a wide circle around the front desk to witness the dramatic scene.

Victoria stood tall in her shiny dress, pointing a long nail directly at Clara's face.

Victoria: People like you don't belong in a high-class place like this!

Clara: Please calm down, ma'am, there is no need to create such a big scene.

Victoria: I will create whatever scene I want until you are removed from this building!

Clara knelt down on the marble floor to gather the official documents scattered across the ground.

Her hands trembled slightly, but her face remained steady and full of inner strength.

She organized the loose papers into a clean leather folder she kept close to her chest.

Victoria stepped closer and intentionally kicked one of the folders away across the floor.

Victoria: Look at you, crawling on the ground where you truly belong!

A few bystanders gasped at the unnecessary cruelty displayed by the angry woman in gold.

Yet nobody stepped forward yet to intervene in the intense argument.

Victoria reached for her smartphone inside her designer handbag with sharp, angry movements.

Victoria: I am calling the board of directors to have you fired before midnight!

Clara slowly stood up from the floor, holding her folder tightly against her body.

She looked straight into Victoria's eyes without showing any fear or embarrassment.

Clara: You can call whoever you like, but it will not change the reality of this property.

Victoria: You are a nobody working for minimum wage at a front desk!

Clara: You know nothing about who I am or why I stand here tonight.

Victoria laughed loudly, a sharp and mocking sound that echoed through the grand entryway.

Victoria: I know that I pay thousands of dollars to stay here, which makes me important!

Clara: Money gives you luxury, but it never gives you the right to mistreat human beings.

Victoria stepped right into Clara's personal space, trying to intimidate her with her tall posture.

Victoria: You will be begging for your job in less than five minutes!

Clara did not step back this time; she held her posture firm and straight.

The air in the lobby felt heavy with mounting tension as everyone waited for what would happen next.

From the top of the grand central staircase, a sharp voice suddenly cut through the heavy silence.
