Chapter 5 of 6
A Dallas Mansion Secret Exposes The Truth Behind Her Child
A Mother Restored
The sleek black SUV pulled up to the entrance of the federal protection building Downtown.
Sarah did not even wait for the driver to open her passenger door before stepping out.
She ran up the wide concrete steps and pushed through the heavy glass security doors.
Inside the quiet reception lobby sat a female social worker holding a small blanketed bundle.
A small toddler with curly blond hair was playing quietly with a wooden toy truck.
Sarah stopped dead in her tracks as her eyes locked onto her precious little boy.
Sarah: Toby, my sweet sweet baby boy!
The little boy turned his head instantly when he heard his mother's emotional broken voice.
He dropped the wooden toy onto the carpet and reached up with both of his little arms.
Sarah sprinted across the lobby floor and fell to her knees right beside his chair.
She pulled her son tight against her chest as tears of pure overwhelming joy rained down.
She smelled his hair and kissed his soft cheeks while holding him like she would never let go.
The six months of living in fear, pain, and isolation evaporated in one single glorious second.
Mark stood near the glass doorway with tears streaming silently down his own face.
He saw the unbroken bond between the mother and son he had almost permanently destroyed.
He knew he had a lifetime of work ahead to earn back even a fraction of their respect.
Mark: The trust fund has been completely restructured into a private account for Toby only.
Sarah: I do not care about your estate money Mark, I only care about my son.
Mark: Everything I own will be put in trust so no one can ever target him again.
Sarah stood up with Toby held tightly in her arms, looking at Mark with quiet dignity.
Sarah: You are going to sign the final custody papers today giving me sole control.
Mark: I will sign whatever you put in front of me Sarah, without any fight.
Mark pulled out his pen right there in the lobby and signed the legal custody document.
He handed the signed paperwork directly to Sarah's private attorney who stood nearby.
Justice had finally been delivered to the grand Dallas mansion and everyone inside it.
The evil plotting of Victoria and Richard had failed against a mother's relentless love.
