Chapter 2 of 6

A Dallas Mansion Secret Exposes The Truth Behind Her Child

The Evidence On The Screen

Mark rushed into the foyer with his tie pulled loose and his dark suit jacket flying open.

He held a high tech digital tablet tightly in his right hand as he marched toward them.

His face was pale and covered in a thin sheen of nervous sweat.

Sarah managed to push herself up from the stairs while watching her ex-husband in total confusion.

Mark had spent months refusing to answer her calls or listen to her desperate pleas.

He had signed the separation papers and moved Victoria straight into this luxurious estate.

Yet now he looked at both women like he was seeing total strangers for the very first time.

Mark: Look at this footage!

He thrust the glowing screen directly into the space between Sarah and Victoria.

Mark: Neither of you knew who really took him!

Sarah leaned forward as her eyes focused on the crisp black and white video playing on loop.

The time stamp showed the exact night her young son had vanished from his nursery room.

The video showed the side security entrance of the Dallas mansion near the private gardens.

A figure in a dark uniform opened the secure electronic lock using an administrator key code.

Sarah felt her throat go completely dry as she recognized the specific keycard hanging from the belt.

It was not a intruder from outside the gated estate at all.

It was a master access pass that only three people in the entire world possessed.

Victoria: Where did you get that digital file Mark?

Victoria's calm voice had suddenly lost all of its smooth confidence.

She reached out to grab the edge of the tablet, but Mark pulled it back instantly.

Mark: My private investigator recovered this off a wiped server in the corporate basement this morning.

Sarah: Mark, who is that opening the nursery security door?

The figure on the high resolution screen turned toward the hidden camera lens for one second.

The overhead spotlight caught the sharp profile of the family trust attorney Richard Vance.

Richard had handled the entire family estate and inheritance documents for over fifteen years.

He was the man who advised Mark to cut Sarah off from all bank accounts.

He was the man who drafted the emergency custody papers after the boy went missing.

Sarah gasped out loud as the terrible truth began to take shape in her head.

Sarah: Richard was the one who locked me out of the house that night!

Mark: He did not act alone Sarah, and he was not doing it for money.

Mark turned his hardened gaze slowly away from Sarah and looked directly at Victoria.

Victoria stepped back toward the grand piano as her face drained of all natural color.

The air in the room grew cold as the secondary footage began to auto-play on screen.
